OffWestEnd offers a number of awards, and this page provides information on each of these, and provides information on how to submit your show for the relevant award – or provides a link to the relevant webpage where you can find this information. All awards operate on a calendar year basis.
The Offies are OffWestEnd’s main awards, for shows with at least 10 performances. These are awarded across a range of categories, covering performance, design, music, direction & overall production. The Offies awards encompass plays and musicals, and also opera and “IDEA” shows – those that are innovative, devised, experiential or alternative.
Offies finalists are announced in mid January, and winners are announced at the annual Offies awards ceremony held in February / March.
The People’s Vote are awards across a number of categories and are for independent, alternative and fringe venues across Greater London. These are voted for by members of the public towards the end of each year and are also announced at the annual Offies awards ceremony.

The OffComm is for short run shows with a minimum of 3-4 performances. A number of reviewers have agreed to act as assessors for the OffComm award. You can invite these reviewers / assessors to your show – and if the show receives at least two 4-5* reviews, it will receive an OffComm.
If you would like the list of these reviewers / assessors, please email firstname.lastname@example.org
