I saw this play last night. Laura is absolutely brilliant in it. Utterly believable and impossible not to watch her. Amazing.
We saw Laura in Yours Unfaithfully last Wednesday. Why haven’t we heard of her before ? She absolutely nailed the character with such professionalism as an actor – we were so impressed – looking forward to hearing about her and seeing her again . She well deserves an award and more !
Miles Malleson’s ‘Yours Unfaithfully’ finally finds its long-overdue premiere. A tract for our times, this gem of a gender study is staged in a suitably cosy and claustrophobic setting on the Jermyn Street stage. Stephen Meredith and his father, the Canon, hammer out their obsessive and antagonistic neuroses. Meanwhile Stephen’s wife Anne (leading lady Laura Doddington) resolves a network of sexual relations and tensions, with sensitivity and wit. A star performance indeed, that deserves a wide audience.
