It’s a brilliant work but it broke my heart and I can’t stop thinking about it. The story is so well written and the collaboration between voice and cello to tell the story is stunning. It’s such an important story and I’m glad that it’s being told, in truth we can heal.
Unbelievable show, that hits hard, but a story that needs to be told. My friend was in tears & my heart even now feels heavy, the delivery of every word grips you & is still with me now. Phenomenal delivery from an incredible actor.
What a magnificent & powerful piece of theatre. Fantastic writing paired with immeasurable talent from Ben and Simone makes for a truly beautiful show.

Brilliant show. Powerful, affecting, and phenomenally told. The combination of excellent writing and delivery, with an important story, being beautifully punctuated by some sensational live musical accompaniment makes this show a stand out that needs to be seen. Truly remarkable work that will stay with me for some time.
This is one of those pieces of theatre that takes you on a journey and leaves you with its reverberations for weeks. I can’t speak highly enough of the beautiful work by these collaborators in shedding a light on a scary period in our history. Fully recommend as a reminder of the power of story-telling.
