So so pleased to see that Michael and his play are getting the recognition they deserve. Funny, heartbreaking, and at times so creepy it makes your skin crawl, Michael’s portrayal is honest, open, and likeable from the get go. He had the audience in the palm of his hand – One of those occasions where you feel everyone is just as engaged as you. A must-see.
Wow! What an amazing insight into such a disturbing yet beautiful story. Micheal is truly brilliant and I am so happy I got the chance to witness such a slick and great performance, couldn’t recommend more!
A fantastic play that draws you in from the start with the brilliant (and often bawdy) one liners from the lead character Jonas. He is having to show all to make ends meet, in between creating self tapes, hoping for his big break as an actor. The audience is lulled into a false sense of security from the jovality and earnestness of this character,
finding out all too late that the online world can darken and deform the real one.
A truly captivating play. Incredibly compelling – at times hilarious, at times dark and abrasive, but most of all, moving. Michael Batten is both a sophisticated writer and an exceptionally talented performer – this story takes you on an expertly contrived rollercoaster of emotions.
Perhaps the best one man play I’ve ever had the pleasure of witnessing. A must see!

What a brilliant piece of theatre written and performed by Michael Batten. It portrays a very raw and real narrative that makes you laugh, cringe and cry all in the space of 5 minutes, performed by such a watchable actor who charms the audience from the very first moment. Highly recommend you see this show if you get the chance!
A truly gripping performance from a man who is master of his craft. The emotional intensity Michael so artfully conveyed left the audience entranced from beginning to end. A sensitive, poignant and important piece which movingly gives a voice to the vulnerable and exposes contemporary social issues of which we should all be aware. Cutting edge theatre at its finest!
