I saw THE LAST FLAPPER in Dallas immediately before Catherine departed for the Festival. Very impressive. I have a bit of history with Catherine, and have seen her take a tiny role, and make it leap off the page. It’s a real testament to her artistry, the way she loads her personal humanity into whatever she takes on. So, it was a great joy to see her bring Zelda so vividly to life in this solo show. I can’t wait to see what she does next!

She locked eyes with me, spoke to me personally, and had me in her grasp the entire performance. I learned so much about her character, and sought a deeper understanding, afterward. You never see that in today’s performances. Kudos to Catherine for sharing her talent with us all.
