I had the pleasure of watching The Madwoman at this year’s EdFringe and was blown away by the detailed writing, immersive storytelling, gorgeous set, and especially by the captivating performance from Cara Johnston. You do not have to have any sort of historical knowledge of the French Revolution or Théroigne de Méricourt to follow the narrative. You will instantly be swept up in 40 minutes of grandeur that will leave you feeling equal amounts of despair and hope.
