The 10th Anniversary Offies Awards Ceremony 2020 was held on Sunday 8 March 2020 in the Grand Hall at Battersea Arts Centre.

Presenters of the Offies 2019 awards included critic Lyn Gardner, producer Danielle Tarento and Julie Ward MEP. Winsome Pinnock, playwright,offered the closing words. Awards were also presented by Lynette Linton, Director of the Bush Theatre, David Wood, playwright, Linda Marlowe, actor & OffWestEnd Patron, Terri Paddock who runs My Theatre Mates & StageFaves, Paul Vale, critic, and Heather Jeffery from London Pub Theatres Magazine. Other presenters include two of the Offies Panel of Critics – Matt Wolf and Alex Ford – and two of the Offies “Patron Saints” – Catherine Kodicek, Head of Costume at the Old Vic, and Mark Shenton, well known theatre critic. Previous nominees presenting awards included Joanne Clifton, Femi Elufowoju Jr, Gemma Sutton, Tilda Wickham and Sally Wood. Certain awards were presented by representatives of the Offies sponsors: White Light, MADE, AKA, estage, Mandy and Tarento Productions.
Alongside free tickets for finalists, sponsors and our own assessors, tickets were available for purchase.
The programme was as follows:
- start at 5pm with a champagne reception
- followed by the Awards ceremony at 7pm – an all seated event, with an interval
- from around 9.30pm, a party including music, buffet and a pay bar
- the evening ended at 11pm.
Dress code was alternative sparkle.
