OffWestEnd offers a number of awards – the Offies for “full run” shows, the OffComms for short run shows, the OffFest for shows in theatre festivals, and the OnComm – a new award introduced in 2020 for online shows. In addition, we make the occasional OneOff award to recognise special achievements. Full information on our awards can be accessed via the menu tabs above.
For most of our awards, nominations are announced during each calendar year. Finalists are then announced in January, and the winners announced at the Offies Awards Ceremony, held in February or March. These ceremonies are normally held in a major OffWestEnd venue – in 2020, the ceremony was held in the wonderful Grand Hall at Battersea Arts Centre.
The Offies Awards Ceremony 2021 was held online on Sunday 21 February 2021 and broadcast free via Scenesaver.

The full ceremony can be watched until the end of March 2021 – visit the Scenesaver website (www.scenesaver.co.uk) and search for “offies“.

PLEASE “BUY A ROUND” TO HELP THE OFFIES 2021
This year, the Offies awards ceremony has to be held online, hosted for free by Scenesaver. The event won’t generate any revenue, but there are still costs involved, because we intend to pay all creatives a fair fee for their work: creating the video for the event, design costs, production & posting of certificates for winners, etc. We have a few sponsors (many thanks), but there is still a significant shortfall.
We would like to invite you to support the Offies 2021 by “buying a (virtual) round” for just £10 – though, as we all know, the show goes better if you buy a few rounds, so you are most welcome to buy a few (virtual) rounds to help ensure the show goes really well.
If you help by buying a round for £10 (or maybe a little more), please click HERE.
Many thanks!
